The Wellen family attended the Steelers Fan Blitz and had the opportunity to tour the facility, including the locker room.

October 11, 2012 - Richard Culliver1051 viewsRichard was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor just one week prior to the Steelers vs Titans game in Tennessee. His â€œabsolute dreamâ€ was to go to a Steelers game.

Thatâ€™s when Jason â€œMooseâ€ Cunningham and the members of Augusta SteelMasters, a Steelers fan club based in Augusta, Georgia stepped up. SteelMasters purchased the game tickets and assisted with the lodging for Richard and his family to make the trip to Tennesseeâ€™s LP Field from their home in South Carolina.

Game night arrived and not only did Richard get to watch his beloved Steelers in person, he got to meet them on the field before the game, courtesy of Coach Mike Tomlin who presented the family with field passes!

Richard, the new man about town (or at least about LP Field), was also asked by the Tennessee Titans cheerleaders to pose with them for a photo! After all, they had heard he was a â€œbig celebrityâ€!
