2012 Ben Roethlisberger Football Camp881 views“Ben gave out a special award in honor of his college coach, Terry Hoeppner, to a little boy that was hit in the eye with one of Ben’s passes during their championship game yesterday – which ended in a black and blue eye. Ben told the crowd that the young man was hit with the ball, but kept right on playing…never even hesitated to keep pushing. I was watching the game and the boy did grab his eye, but went right back to the line for the next pass. Ben said he wasn’t sure who was going to get the award, but as soon as that happened he knew it was going to be that little boy. He said of all the awards handed out that award means the most to him. And when he gave the little boy the award, he also gave him a bag of ice for his eye, lol.†– Michele Rodi, Ohio

I learn something new every drawing still always learning. This is chalk pastel on Museum Ampersand Board. Took me approximately 600 hours on and off, mother of 2 teens & grade school art teacher.â€

@_BigBen7 Being a Browns fan and living in Bluffton isn’t easy with the Steel curtain of Findlay just north. Your team made it harder to root against you after seeing the softball game today. Lots of fun, laughs and gracious players. Keep it up, Sir!

August 16, 2025: Steelers open exhibit honoring Super Bowl XL363 views“Yeah, 20 years makes you feel really old, especially when as I’m walking in someone reminds me they were in high school when (Super Bowl XL) happened,” said Roethlisberger. “But it’s an honor to be here to remember an amazing season, team and obviously also the game…So many great memories from that season, like Mr. Rooney said. Getting in as a sixth seed and not expecting a sixth seed to ever go all the way because it never happened. And being able to get there and then, as Mr. Rooney said, as a quarterback, you don’t usually want to be remembered for making a tackle. Luckily, it wasn’t on an interception, so I can tease Jerome about that all the time.”
