November 8, 2018: Panthers vs Steelers431 views“Ben is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week!â€
From Bob Labriola, Steelers.com:
Winning in the NFL doesn’t require perfect play from the quarterback, but if a team gets perfect play from its quarterback, things certainly are a whole lot easier. Thursday night against the Carolina Panthers at Heinz Field, the Steelers got perfect play from their quarterback, and that got them off on the right foot for what turned into a 52-21 victory over the Carolina Panthers.
Ben Roethlisberger completed 22-of-25 (88 percent) for 328 yards, with five touchdowns, no interceptions, and a perfect 158.3 rating. Roethlisberger also ran three times for 27 yards, and for all of that he is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week.
Final Score: Steelers 52, Panthers 21

"I loved being a Marine & fighting for my country! When I left the Corps, I started working in the Emergency Room at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I guess protecting others is just a part of who I am, which is why I went on to college for Criminal Justice. I am now a Senior Safety Officer for UPMC’s Western Psychiatric Institute." -- Greg Yakubik.

August, 2016 - Training Camp430 views“My dad and I have always shared a love for Steelers football. Monday, we had the opportunity to meet Ben after training camp. As a leader for the Steelers on and off the field, he was a terrific representative for the special relationship that the Steelers share with Steeler Nation. He was a class act and was very generous with his time. The photo he took with me and my dad will always be a great memory from a great day. Thank you to Ben for meeting with us. Best of luck to him and all of the Steelers this season!†— Scott Juba

Training Camp, 2016429 views“Three years ago today Ben signed my daughters jersey for her. He always seems to go straight to the kids when he’s signing autographs. I just want to say thanks to Big Ben for all the special things he does and continues to do for kids. Thanks again! Can’t wait to see what you do this season!!†— Justin Schneider
