From Monterrey, Mexico to the Steel City to catch a game!455 viewsFrom Roger Saucedo....his story of the Regios De Acero Steelers Fan Club trip to Heinz Field continues:
On Saturday, we visited the city. We took a lot of pictures and later had a lunch at Jerome Bettis’ Grille 36… later we visited downtown Pittsburgh and walked to Market Square. From there we made our way to Station Square and took pictures from Duquesne funicular observation deck.
Sunday! Everyone was so excited! We went downtown bright and early to buy some Steelers clothes including jerseys, and from there back to our hotel. At 5:00pm we headed to Heinz Field. When we were on our way, one of Regios de Acero leaders, Jesús Vera, told us that our friend Fernando Von Rossum, who works for Fox Sports (“pasión acereraâ€), had sent tickets for us to access the field before the game started!! That was our Christmas gift! It was a big surprise, but Fernando know that our club is one of the best in México and full of die hard fans of the Steelers....

Steeler Nation Down Under454 views"Let the boys know that Yinzers around the world are wearing the Black and Gold, twirling our terrible towels and spreading the Good Word of The Son (Coach Mike Tomlin,) The Spirit (Sir Dick LeBeau) and The Wholy Ghost (Art Rooney.) Australians wonder why football players wear pads and I say two words, "Troy Polamalu." Needless to say, Steeler Nation is in every corner of this blue marble.
"Great Win! Keep it going. More importantly, congratulations on the birth of your new joy, Benny Jr. If you come to Darwin I will show you crocodiles. Not many Pittsburgh born and bred Yinzers have seen them and I know you are from Ohio. Enjoy, the picture. Its my wife and me at Uluruu in the Red Centre. And yes, that is a Barry Foster jersey. I try to rock it on the fan website but its never there...but it is always on me half way around the world when the Black and Gold take the field. Tell Shaun "South Side" Suisham hell of a win.
"Here we go Steelers, here we go!"
-- David Witzke, sent after the Steelers vs Ravens win on December 2, 2012.

Sharing their Big Day with Big Ben!454 viewsCorey & Brittany Casper had a “surprise guest†appear at their wedding reception at Treesdale Country Club in May, and wanted to share their story:
“On our wedding day, May 17, 2013, we got more than any Pittsburgh fan could ever want. Our day was amazing and as we were enjoying ourselves at our wedding reception, we saw someone that looked familiar just outside the door! We went out in the hallway and saw the one and only Big Ben – coming back in from a round of golf with friends (see this week’s Picture of the Week)! We were so excited! He was very personable, taking time out of his night to say “hello†and to congratulate us on our marriage, and to pose for pictures with us! We were so excited to be able to share our big day with our favorite player on the Pittsburgh Steelers! We will forever remember this day thanks to Ben!! Thank you again for the amazing memory!!" – Corey & Brittany Casper
*Thank you and congratulations to Corey & Brittany!

Steve Hakin in Peru!454 views"Here is a photo of me wearing my Big Ben shirt in Machu Picchu Peru. It's one of the seven wonders of the world. Go Steelers. The Nation is everywhere. I purposely made sure to wear my Steelers gear that day. I'm sure you have many fans that have personally connected to Ben in one way or another. Now I've been a Steelers fan my whole life but I was particularly excited when Ben was drafted by the Steelers because he is from my home town in Ohio and my Mom and Aunts went to high school with Ben's Dad, Ken. Anyways Go Steelers and can't wait for football season to start." -- Steven Hakin
