January 26-28, 2015 - Phoenix Open Annexus Pro Am930 views“My 9 year old son, Luke (above) followed Ben the entire day today for the Waste Management Open (he was THE ONLY KID who followed him the entire day – Ben was so gracious and kind. He made it a ‘live-over’ day for us both. A day so good – you wanna live it over again. He signed a bunch of things, took photos with us and even gave Luke, my son one of this custom made golf club protectors.
“Ben was so incredibly awesome to ALL his fans that day. He signed and posed and signed and posed. I feel so blessed to have that memory. We love the Steelers. My son is so funny to watch the game with. Knows the plays, stats etc. Ben will remember him from that day – they joked a lot. Ben asked him to take a shot for him that he had made and it landed way off course….then later on the 18th, he did the same thing and my son was like ‘hey, you want me to take this shot for you’ – everyone laughed. Ben was like, ‘Hey it’s you! I asked you to take a harder shot for me earlier…and you should have!’.†– Cherie Hannon-Hoover.

March 5, 2008 - Charity Basketball Event1733 viewsSteeler defensive end Brett Keisel was up to his antics again Wednesday Night, this time at the Riverside High School. Antics that included hoisting a lucky fan, this time a young Steeler fan, high above his shoulders for a slam dunk and also throwing down a dunk of his own -- all part of the show the Steeler basketball team put on against the Riverside B.E. Taylor & Company squad.
Keisel and the rest of the Steeler basketball team were joined Wednesday night by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Big Ben played the entire game, showed his hops by throwing down some dunks during the game, and spent half-time signing autographs for the fans.
The Steeler squad consisted of some of the same players that attended Lincoln High School last Friday night along with running back Najah Davenport and Roethlisberger. Proceeds from the event benefited the Riverside girls' varsity softball team.

June 3, 2013 - The Second Annual Ben Roethlisberger Foundation Invitational932 viewsPrior to taking their shots at the 17th, every golfer had the opportunity to try their swing at the TPC Sawgrass “Island Green†game. The object of this one was to get the ball on the floating sticky green in the middle of the pond for a chance to win a raffle item! Not only did several golfers get their ball on the floating green, but Chris Hart did 'em one better - his ball actually went into the small bucket on the floating green that was holding the flag! No kidding, this isn't one of those "golf stories", I saw it myself - I was the 17th hole game hostess! -- Erin
