2012 Troy Polamalu Poynesian Luau1412 viewsBen poses with Nick Muna, who performed at the event.
From the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:
The lucky 425 guests who got their tickets early made their way to the Westin Convention Center Friday night where the call of conch shells and Kukui nut leis welcomed all.
A traditional luau performance by Netane Polynesian Entertainment and the Fiji and Common Kings provided an authentic South Seas soundtrack to the soiree as well as spectacular ceremonial dances.
Steelers No. 43, Troy Polamalu, with his wife, Theodora, and their sons, Ephraim and Paisios, mingled during cocktails with guests including 84 Lumber's Joe Hardy, Jan and Richard Piacentini, Dick Singer, Bill Baierl, Dr. Joseph Maroon and The Pittsburgh Foundation's Lindsay Aroesty.
The party benefited the Troy Polamalu Football Camp in American Samoa and the Harry Panos Fund of The Pittsburgh Foundation, named after Theodora Polamalu's grandfather, which helps military veterans. Sponsored by Head & Shoulders and the Citrone family, the evening featured lots of flowing locks and flowery shirts.
Many of Polamalu's teammates were among the guests, including Ben Roethlisberger, Ziggy Hood (with Sara), Rashard Mendenhall, Casey Hampton, Charlie and Latasha Batch, Jerome Bettis and Heath Miller. Ryan Clark (with Yonka) and WDVE-FM's Randy Baumann acted as official live auctioneers, with Brett Keisel and James Harrison jumping in to encourage some major bidding. "Polamalisa" -- a "Mona Lisa"/Polamalu hybird painting signed by Troy -- brought in $12,000.

March 5, 2008 - Charity Basketball Event1867 viewsSteeler defensive end Brett Keisel was up to his antics again Wednesday Night, this time at the Riverside High School. Antics that included hoisting a lucky fan, this time a young Steeler fan, high above his shoulders for a slam dunk and also throwing down a dunk of his own -- all part of the show the Steeler basketball team put on against the Riverside B.E. Taylor & Company squad.
Keisel and the rest of the Steeler basketball team were joined Wednesday night by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Big Ben played the entire game, showed his hops by throwing down some dunks during the game, and spent half-time signing autographs for the fans.
The Steeler squad consisted of some of the same players that attended Lincoln High School last Friday night along with running back Najah Davenport and Roethlisberger. Proceeds from the event benefited the Riverside girls' varsity softball team.

2017 Ben Roethlisberger Football Camp769 views"We drove up from GA Sunday for the camp. I can't express how thankful I am for my son to have the experience. But I have to get something off my chest . When Ben was leaving I tried to get a pic, he rushed out. At first I was mad, but I was wrong to have felt that way, I even talked to my son about this. Ben was there taking time away from HIS kids during Father's Day. I remember seeing him running back and forth from camp to his family. He went out of his way to make the experience for kids memorable, and I feel like he did. Sometimes as fans we can be as selfish as I was, I hope the rest of Ben's day was great! Thanks for all you do, on and off the field. My son already talking about coming back next year. I did talk with Pouncey during camp and got a pic, so big thanks to Pouncey for being there!" -- Tommy Hyde.

January 26-28, 2015 - Phoenix Open Annexus Pro Am821 views“First I’d like to say how bummed I was that I couldn’t be there in person because I was at home with a sleeping 7-month old. So my boyfriend, Albert Morales (above), got a picture for me outside the Blue Martini restaurant. My family are all huge Steelers fans – from my grandmother Stephanie, who went to high school with Franco Harris – to my uncle’s family and my family, thanks to my mom! I just had a son named Emery (he was sleeping which is why I couldn’t meet Ben in person Monday night) and I am working on him being a fan. So now there are 4 generations of Steelers fans in my family. Ben, thank you for taking the picture with my boyfriend!†– Jessica Trischan
