November 25, 2016 - Lil’ Fan Friday – Thanksgiving Weekend Edition!476 viewsThat’s right! We have another Big Ben turkey contestant!
This one was made by 6-year old Kayla Hawley:
“My first grade daughter’s project was to disguise a turkey to keep it from becoming someone’s Thanksgiving dinner. Kayla has been a Big Ben fan from the beginning! One thing to know about Kayla is that she loves everything ‘girl’. She’s a princess-loving ballerina for sure. But when it came time for this project she chose Big Ben all on her own! Kayla sports Ben’s jersey on game days and cheers for him above everyone else. If he’s ever not playing she is heartbroken. This girl is a true fan!†— Michelle Babusci.
We think that’s just good parenting showing through! Well done, Kayla (and mom!).

One TOTALLY COOL LITTLE DUDE!1081 views"Trevin just turned 4 years old on April 29th. Let me tell you...this is real. He is a huge fan like his daddy. He loves Big Ben. We took him to training camp when he was 3-months old. We are taking him back this year. He really wants to try and meet Big Ben. Thank you so much for reaching out. My wife is going to love seeing his photo on our favorite players site. Thanks again!" -- Nate Laughlin

Ben on David Letterman - February 2, 20092371 viewsIn this photo provided by CBS, Super Bowl XLIII winning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers, left, joins host David Letterman on the set of "The Late Show with David Letterman," Monday, Feb. 2, 2009 in New York.
NEW YORK — When he threw the pass that won the Super Bowl, Ben Roethlisberger thought he'd just blown the game for the Steelers.
The Pittsburgh quarterback went on the "Late Show with David Letterman" Monday night and told the host his pass to Santonio Holmes with 35 seconds to play Sunday night was his third read, and he thought a defensive back would intercept it.
"I was getting ready to start running and then I saw about five guys closing on me, I knew my life was about to end," Roethlisberger told Letterman.
"I saw Santonio in the corner and as soon as I let go of it, I saw the defensive back going to get it, and I thought it was intercepted. I thought the game was over. I thought I blew it. And, you know what? He made a heck of a catch, he really did."
Letterman also thanked Roethlisberger for appearing on the show after a night celebrating Pittsburgh's 27-23 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
"Long night — but what better way to celebrate the next day than to be here with you," Roethlisberger said.
"Oh, what a guy, what a guy," Letterman said, applauding.

If it's September, then it's Steelers Mexico Time!!465 views"Today in 20 cities of Mexico, the Steelers fans took the official picture to support the team and to share our passion for the black and gold. This is becoming an annual event and we hope to keep doing for a long time. These are photos from different fan groups, but the main organizer was Sergio Carrasco, from Steelers Family Mexico. The other big groups participating were Steeler Nation Mexico, Steelers Mexico, and Regios de Acero. Here we go Steelers!" -- Edgar Gonzalez
