Ben Roethlisberger just pulled a young fan wearing a No. 7 jersey out of the crowd and played catch with him all the way down the field. Then took pictures with him. Great moments of training camp. #Steelers #dkps

Tiger Jam XII, 2009 - May 16, 20091618 viewsBen introduces Tiger Woods at his Tiger Jam event in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
Following solid sets by opening acts The Sounds and Paramore, Roethlisberger took the stage and was greeted by cheers and a smattering of boos, to which he replied, there must be some "Steeler haters out there". Roethisberger then took out a piece of paper, and for a second, began a serious speech before saying, "Aw, forget this ... Tiger Woods!"

September 8, 2013: Titans vs Steelers870 viewsThe one bright spot of the game, per Bob Labriola of Steelers.com:
Steelers Digest Player of the game -
BEN ROETHLISBERGER
Quarterback
He deserved better, certainly in the course of an afternoon in which he cracked the 30,000-yard passing plateau for his career. It was an afternoon in which his first pass traveled 40 yards and was right on the money only to have it go through his receiver’s hands, an afternoon when he was sacked five times and the running game netted but 32 yards, an afternoon when he rarely was able to operate within a clean pocket.
In the final analysis, Ben Roethlisberger completed 21-of-33 for 191 yards with one touchdown and one interception, and those numbers mean he now has passed for 30,035 yards in his career. When asked about the milestone afterward, Roethlisberger said simply, “It comes in a loss, so it doesn’t do anything for me.â€
Still, it’s a statistically significant achievement, and so Ben Roethlisberger is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week.
