2011 Heinz Field – CASA Champions for Children Event1997 viewsPhoto: Ben and Coach Arians attend the event.
The Steelers and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Allegheny County teamed up to host a dinner for 250 kids thanks to offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, whose wife Chris is a CASA volunteer. Ben, Mike Wallace, who is the Honorary Chair, and Antonio Brown attended the dinner.
“Kids are neglected in Allegheny County way too much,†said Roethlisberger. “These things help get those kids out of bad situations and put them into places where they can thrive and strive. These kids are in tough situations. If I can help them out I will do that.â€

Veterans Day, 20111180 viewsPFC Gordon of A- Troop 4-7 Cav. U.S. Army, Camp Hovey South Korea -
"Great job week in and week out, young guys are stepping in and working through adversity only makes the team more cohesive.
The Steelers (you guys) are the reason why I wake up at 0200hrs on a Monday morning to watch football. Its not just football, it motivates me to work hard and do what has to be done, just so I can see next weeks game. Its the reason why my peers knock on my door because they hear yelling and screaming coming out of the room down the hall. Football has always been a pastime, and the best way to enjoy it is to sit back and watch the only NFL team that brings back the good memories, warrior, and optimist out of me. The team boosts moral like no other, and makes me Proud to be an American Soldier Serving the great country, The United States of America
Added a picture of approx 12 miles north of where I am, known as the JSA.
Through my time here I've been on the hope that Hines Ward would visit, come by and me get an autograph, (lol that and the WHOLE team.) Now lets go get another ring for the other hand. (7)
Heading back stateside in December, I'm looking into attending my first ever Steelers game, keep up the great work and thank you for taking time to read this.

We're not horsin' around....474 viewswhen we say that both Maverick and his pony, Mo, are HUGE Ben fans! In fact, Maverick first choice in clothing always includes his Big Ben jersey!
A pony named Mo? Yup! According to Maverick's mom, Keri Mitchell, when they purchased Mo, he had been the recent recipient of a very bad mane (hair) cut by a little boy, that reminded them of one of the Three Stooges...that would be Mo!
