February 10, 2022 - Ben has to wait 5 years to go into the HOF218 views…but his jersey didn’t, grass stains and all!!
From the Pro Football Hall of Fame website:
“The 2021 season was Ben Roethlisberger’s final one of his career. He started in 16 games while throwing for 3,740 yards and 22 touchdowns and led the Pittsburgh Steelers to a playoff berth. He moved into fifth all-time in career passing yards (64,088) trailing only Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Hall of Famers Peyton Manning and Brett Favre.
Roethlisberger’s jersey from Week 18 when he played in his final regular-season game is now on display in the Pro Football Today Gallery.
During the game on Jan. 9, the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Baltimore Ravens in overtime (16-13) to clinch their playoff spot. Roethlisberger threw for 244 yards and one touchdown.â€

September, 2010 - Working with Mr. Whitfield1898 views"For myself, I've been training QB's out here in San Diego. I have Whitfield Athletix, with an X, and we have high school and college guys. Over the last couple years I have had some opportunities to work with some agencies to get guys ready for the draft, who came out to train with us. Last year we worked with Tony Pike who came in from Cincinatti, Rusty Smith from Florida Atlantic who is now with the Titans, Hunter Cantwell came out from Louisville, and now he's with the Baltimore Ravens. Had a chance to work some pro days and push these guys through. It's kind of similar. They're out there for three months...their football lives depended on how sharp they can show up to their workouts, and do they have their weaknesses knocked out. So I was used to this kind of setting, this kind of regimen. I know for Ben, for pro quarterbacks in season, they're not used to this type of work. But it went well, and I'm excited that he's excited." -- George Whitfield, on 93.7 - The Fan, October 5, 2010.
