"Driving Home" by Jerome Bettis2868 viewsBettis on Ben Roethlishberger, P. 3
"When Ben got here, I took on the role of big brother. Warren Moon told him to look me up when he got in town, that I would help him out and guide him. When he got here, he asked me to come by and talk to him, so I did. We talked, and I gave him an understanding of what to expect as a first-rounder. I told him I was a former first-round pick, even though it was quite a few years ago, and I understood the expectations and everything that was being asked of him, things to be careful of as a young guy. The relationship developed from the standpoint of my being a big brother, telling him what to do, what not to do, to speak only when spoken to as a rookie, those kind of things. He is definitely the little brother. He is always after me trying to get the upper hand and get back at me. I am always getting on him, so whenever he has the opportunity to get on me, he does that."

Men's Health 2005 article3751 views"He's only 23 and already the undisputed Boy King of Pittsburgh. His number-7 Steelers jersey has become de rigueur for Pittsburghers of every stripe: male and female, infant and geriatric. The fans literally eat him up -- wolfing down "Roethlisburgers" as if they were the gridiron equivalent of communion wafers. All this comes thanks to a historic 15-game winning streak last season -- a string in which the 6'4", 241-pound behemoth seemingly could not lose as the Steelers' starting quarterback."
